Job Description

Leading index Rebal team seeking a highly skilled and proactive Dev Ops Engineer to join our Equities Trading team.

This role is critical to ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of our research and trading infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining production systems, supporting research workflows, and driving improvements across our infrastructure.

You will work closely with developers, researchers and portfolio managers to ensure seamless operations and continuous innovation.

  • Environment design and build-out.
  • Perform continuous status checks on research and trading-critical automated tasks.
  • Develop automated testing frameworks and AI-driven solutions to enhance the quality of research and development outputs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the stability and performance of infrastructure components and implement solutions to address them.
  • Continuously monitor logs for all production applications.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact operations.
  • Oversee the health and performance of data pipelines, including the team's data pipeline and other dependencies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of external data.
  • Work closely with researchers, developers, and portfolio managers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Web Scraping: Monitor and maintain web scraping pipelines to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Required Technical Skills
  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
  • Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools - Apache Airflow.
  • Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies - Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
