The Shift Engineer at Copthorne Slough Windsor Hotel is a crucial role when it comes to the upkeep of the hotel. Our Shift Engineer will be responsible for responding to guest repair requests and performing maintenance activities on equipment around the hotel.

  • Role: Shift Engineer
  • Hours of work: 35 hrs - 40 hrs Weekly
Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance within the hotel rooms
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to any maintenance calls that arise
  • Assist in the implementation of the energy conservation program
  • Execute the preventative maintenance schedule and ensure all equipment and designated areas are maintained to the required standard
  • Keep your technical training knowledge and skills up to date
  • Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in good condition

Qualifications
  • Good mechanical, electrical, plumbing and engineering knowledge
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Basic understanding of air-conditioning and ventilation / HVAC
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to communicate efficiently on any subject of department responsibilities
  • Fluent English and Excellent grooming standards
