Linen Porter responsibilities
- Collecting linen from corridors, counting it and bagging it for collection by the linen provider
- Receiving linen orders from the supplier, checking and ensuring that it is received to the correct standard
- Keeping the Linen Room clean and tidy
- Delivering linen to floors for Room Attendants, as required
- Carrying out general hotel cleaning duties, as required
- Previous Housekeeping experience
- Previous Linen Room experience
- Good communication skills
- Pleasant mannerism and flexible, ‘can do' attitude
- High standards and attention to detail
- Ability to work weekends as well as during the week
- As and when required, clean hotel bedrooms and public areas to a high standard, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, replenishing supplies, and reporting repairs and lost property
