Are you an experienced Senior Chef de Partie looking for an opportunity to shine? The Copthorne Hotel Newcastle is seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our Senior Kitchen team and help support the team in delivering a high standard of food.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Kitchen team, ensuring they have the skills required to deliver an excellent standard of food
- Preparing all dishes as instructed by Head Chef and/or Senior Sous Chef
- Supporting the Kitchen Senior Management team in planning menus within cost targets
- Controlling food costs and achieving gross profit targets (including monitoring waste)
- Ensuring processes are in place to achieve high standards of cleanliness, consistently
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements
Qualifications
- Proven track record as a Senior Chef de Partie/Chef de Partie within a quality hotel
- Ability to lead and effectively supervise the kitchen team
- High standards of hygiene and Health & Safety controls
- Knowledge of computerised ordering system
- Enthusiastic and motivated with an eye for detail and accuracy
- Ability to work 5 shifts out of 7 on a rota basis, including weekend work
