Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is seeking a Meeting & Events Planner who will be responsible for maximizing the revenue and occupancy of all Meetings and Events function rooms through the management of all aspects of competitor intelligence, pricing, and management of function room inventory, market segment mix, and acceptance/denial of major group bookings whilst maintaining budgeted revenue and profit targets set.
Key Responsibilities
- To ensure that all client correspondence is prioritised and responded to immediately where possible or within a maximum of 2 hours.
- Lead engaging, high-impact show rounds for prospects and tentative clients, working closely with EBC and property teams.
- Manage site visits, menu tastings, and supplier appointments for tentative and definite events.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients post-contract, handling all planning, amendments, and communication up to event day.
- Create accurate, creative, and timely BEOs and event documentation.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Provide essential event details such as final numbers, menus, dietary needs, payments, and supplier paperwork.
- Identify and maximise upselling opportunities.
- Attend weekly Operations Meetings, sharing client insights, preferences, and repeat-business potential.
