The Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington is looking for a Reservations Agent to be the first point of contact for guests and other stakeholders, offering friendly and professional service and to enter correct booking information into Opera in a timely manner and to operate with a selling attitude at all times in order to maximise room sales and Hotel Revenues.
Responsibilities:
- Be fully conversant with the Opera system and apply it to individual and group reservations.
- Be fully aware of all department standards of performance and procedures and follow them.
- Be fully aware of all information required for a reservation and obtain it accurately and efficiently.
- Possess thorough product knowledge at all times and utilise this information when dealing with clients.
- Operate with a sales attitude and be aware of the sales opportunities within the Hotel which will assist with the maximisation of revenue.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the departmental telephone standards and ensure calls are answered and handled in a timely manner in accordance with departmental standards.
Requirements:
- Experience and knowledge of Opera.
- Capacity to complete jobs within deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
