The purpose of this role is to assist in the daily running of the Food and Beverage department, ensuring that all M&C procedures and targets are met.
Responsibilities
- Setting up marquees, arranging tables and assisting with the preparation of event spaces
- Greeting guests with a smile as they arrive at the venue, directing guests to tables, providing menus and taking orders
- Delivering food from the kitchen to guests at the table or to a self-service area
- Topping up buffet selections with food
- Keeping any bar and drink service areas fully stocked with beverages
- Taking drinks orders and serving drinks to guests at their table or throughout the venue
- Ensures that all F&B areas are kept clean and that hygiene and food safety standards are respected
- Maintaining accurate records and accounts as required and agreed
- Address customer queries and resolve minor complaints effectively
