We are looking for an energetic IT Manager for this busy hotel to aid in managing the IT environment, as well as evaluate, plan, design, implement, and monitor all systems. You will be reporting to the General Manager and work with our IT Director on Group's standards, and monitor the daily, weekly, and monthly operations of the hotel, including the integrity of computer systems, ordering equipment, granting user rights, providing support on all IT-related issues, and assisting hotel guests with technical issues they experience while staying in our hotel. Additionally, the IT Manager will work with the wider IT Team, vendors, consultants, operations departments, and guests to ensure satisfaction of all users and an efficient and positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Previous experience of working within a similar IT Support Technician or IT Management role, ideally within a Hospitality environment.
- Office Hours; however, some evening, night and weekend work will occasionally be required along with ‘on call / call out' responsibilities in emergency situations.
- To have excellent numeric, literacy and keyboard skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows environment servers and stations, Active Directory, Switching & Firewalls, Telephony & mobile.
- Good knowledge of Opera/Opera Cloud PMS, Networking, Micros Point of Sale and other hotel systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management and communication skills a must including an excellent level of spoken & written English required.
