We are currently looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Housekeeping team.
Key responsibility:
- Supervise and support Room Attendants and Public Area Attendants to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel
- Conduct inspections of guest rooms, suites, corridors, and public areas to ensure they meet brand and company standards
- Allocate daily assignments and monitor productivity to ensure departmental targets are achieved
- Coordinate room status updates with the Front Office team to ensure timely availability of guest rooms
- Assist with the training, coaching, and development of housekeeping team members
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, company policies, and cleaning standards
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, reporting shortages as required
- Support the Housekeeping Management team with rota planning, attendance monitoring, and daily departmental administration
- Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure that lost property procedures are followed and records are accurately maintained
- Promote a positive and collaborative working environment within the department
- Assist with deep cleaning programmes and special cleaning projects as required
- Undertake any other reasonable duties requested by the Housekeeping Manager or Executive Housekeeper
