Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is seeking a Groups Reservations Executive, responsible for managing all incoming group accommodation enquiries, preparing accurate rate quotations subject to availability, and maximising Rooms Revenue. The role also involves maintaining precise and comprehensive records of all group bookings and proactively identifying every opportunity to optimise revenue potential for the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding promptly and professionally to all incoming group enquiries, providing accurate, detailed, and competitive quotations.
- Making informed decisions on the acceptance or rejection of group bookings based on rate strategy, availability, and revenue optimisation.
- Demonstrating full proficiency in the operation, functionality, and standards of the OPERA reservations system.
- Accurately inputting all group reservations into OPERA, ensuring complete and correct details in line with departmental standards.
- Maintaining a rolling monthly overview of all incoming groups, options held, and tentative bookings to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Liaising closely with Sales, Revenue, and Front Office teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery of group requirements.
- Supporting the Reservations Manager in monitoring group pick‑up, forecasting, and revenue opportunities.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across all levels of the organisation.
