An exciting opportunity has become available at Copthorne Hotel Newcastle for a Casual Food & Beverage Assistant position. Our Food & Beverage Assistant will help the hotel to continue to deliver great service to our guests in the bar, restaurant and functions area.

Responsibilities
- Service of food & beverage products in the bar, restaurant and function area
- Understand and communicate effectively the menu and all products available to customers
- Deal with all payment transactions (cash, card, room charging) according to company guidelines
- Provide a warm and welcoming service, ensuring queries or requirements are dealt with accordingly
Qualifications
- Experience in a food & beverage position
- Great customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure as part of a team and maintain a professional approach
- Experience working with payments
- Experience with Micros would be an advantage
- Flexible to cover various shifts over the festive season including weekend party events
