The Chelsea Harbour Hotel is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Assistant - Admin to assist and participate in maintaining the high and smooth standards of service according to hotel standards and guest requirements in a friendly, courteous and efficient manner in order to achieve maximum guest satisfaction and increased guest loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Administration & Coordination
- Provide administrative support to the F&B management team, prepare and maintain departmental reports.
- Support the coordination of F&B meetings, training sessions, and team communications.
- Update menus & print menus as needed by the team.
- Reservation & Email Management
- Manage incoming F&B reservations via email, including restaurant bookings, private dining, group requests, and event-related meal orders.
- Respond to guest and client enquiries promptly and professionally, providing accurate information on menus, availability, and pricing.
- Record and track all reservations using relevant systems, ensuring accuracy and avoiding overbooking.
- Liaise with Kitchen & operations teams to communicate guest requirements (dietary needs, special occasions, setup requests, etc.).
- Follow up on enquiries to maximise conversion into confirmed bookings and support revenue growth.
- Maintain a high standard of written communication that reflects the hotel's brand and guest care values.
- Arrange for taking payment via payment links where needed.
- Guest Experience & Operations Support
- Support F&B leadership with guest-focused initiatives, promotions, and special events.
- Provide operational support when required, including hosting for the restaurant and bar.
- Assist the wider F&B team during busy periods to ensure smooth service delivery.
Key Skills & Attributes
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and hospitality systems such as OpenTable and Micros.
- Good understanding of food and beverage operations and guest service standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive guest and business information confidentially.
- Proactive, flexible, and able to prioritise workload effectively.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, particularly within Food & Beverage operations.
- Experience with reservations systems, guest communication, and F&B service.
