Responsibilities
- The service of food and beverage products in the restaurant, either working within the bar, breakfast or evening restaurant team.
- Being able to confidently communicate all food and beverage offerings available to customers.
- Accurately dealing with all payment transactions (cash, card and room charging) in the correct manner according to company guidelines.
- Providing a warm and welcoming service at all touch points with the guests ensuring that any queries or requirements are dealt with accordingly.
- Managing day‑to‑day staffing needs, planning and assigning work and contributing to setting performance and development goals for team members.
- Ensuring the team delivers on quality and guest satisfaction goals.
- Helping guests with their requests and complaints – maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Making sure food and drinks are secure and stored safely, always keeping stocks replenished and minimising waste.
- Supporting in the management of food and beverage inventory procedures, ensuring minimum and maximum stocks for all food, beverage, material and equipment are maintained consistently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food and beverage supervisory/team leader position.
- Attentive, professional customer service skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a big team.
- Experience of processing payments (ideally on Micros) would be advantageous.
- Availability for a variety of shifts over mornings and evenings, sometimes into the early hours, as the position covers breakfast, M&E functions or dinner service.
