We need someone to support our Head Housekeeper on a fixed term to cover maternity leave, and their team to keep all aspects of the housekeeping department running smoothly, ensuring our high standards are exceeded to deliver remarkable guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Making sure the quality of our housekeeping services is always superb: ensuring rooms and public areas look their best for our guests.
- Managing day‑to‑day staffing needs, planning and assigning work to team members fairly.
- Inspecting all guest rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, linens, public restrooms, lobby, etc. are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction.
- Coaching the Head Housekeeper to develop the team and improve performance, recognising good performance as required.
- Resolving any Housekeeping related issues, including stock control, HR processes, training, payroll, etc., in the absence of the senior Housekeeping team.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a supervisory hotel housekeeping position.
- Attentive, professional customer service skills and a team‑working champion.
- The ability to manage a team with a 'leading from the front' approach.
