This role blends hands-on technical security expertise with risk management, governance, and assurance, ensuring business objectives are supported while minimising cyber and data protection risks.
As an Information Security Manager, you will drive security architecture decisions, lead incident response and vulnerability management efforts, and support secure digital transformation initiatives. You will also provide clear, risk-based guidance to stakeholders and senior leadership to strengthen the organisation’s overall security posture.
Responsible for:
- Developing and implementing IT Security strategy, policies, programs and procedures.
- Managing the daily IT Security operations of MHR – UK.
- Providing IT Security consulting support across various business units within MHR UK.
- Promoting IT Security Awareness amongst end users.
- Working with key business stakeholders to incorporate IT Innovations and Process Improvements into their operations.
- Managing and driving Special Projects or initiatives for the group as assigned by reporting officer.
Key Responsibilities are:
- Formulate, develop and implement IT Security strategy, policies, programs and procedures that are aligned to the MHR UK.
- Lead and drive PCI-DSS Compliance program together with identified business stakeholders.
- Keep up to date on new and emerging security technologies and their relevance.
- Track and document incidents from initial detection through final resolution in support of future analytical efforts and situational awareness.
- Working with the hotel IT and HR teams to present and educate.
- Implement various security solutions as controls and measures for effective threats mitigation.
- Perform periodic IT Security audits across UK properties to ensure compliance to established IT Security policies, PCI-DSS and regulatory requirements.
Hospitality or similar industry experience is advantageous.
