The Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington is looking for a Reservations Agent to be the first point of contact for guests and other stakeholders, offering friendly and professional service and to enter correct booking information into Opera in a timely manner and to operate with a selling attitude at all times in order to maximise room sales and Hotel Revenues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To be fully conversant with the Opera system and to apply it to individual and group reservations.
  • To be fully aware of all department standards of performance and procedures and to follow them.
  • To be fully aware of all information required for a reservation and to obtain it accurately and efficiently.
  • To possess a thorough product knowledge at all times and to utilise this information when dealing with clients.
  • To operate with a sales attitude and be aware of the sales opportunities within the Hotel which will assist with the maximisation of revenue.
  • To have a comprehensive understanding of the departmental telephone standards and that calls are answered and handled in a timely manner in accordance with departmental standards.

Experience and Skills:

  • Experience and knowledge of Opera.
  • Capacity to complete jobs within the deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
