An exciting opportunity has become available at Copthorne Hotel Newcastle for the Food & Beverage Assistant position. Our Food & Beverage Assistant will help the hotel to continue to deliver great service to our guests in the bar, restaurant and functions area.

Key Information

  • Role: Food & Beverage Assistant
  • Hours of Work: Casual/As Required
  • Location: Copthorne Hotel Newcastle, NE1 3RT

Responsibilities

  • The service of food & beverage products in the bar, restaurant and function area.
  • To be able to understand and communicate effectively the menu and all products available to customers.
  • Deal with all payment transactions (Cash, card and room charging) according to company guidelines.
  • To provide a warm and welcoming service, ensuring that all queries or requirements are dealt with accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a food & beverage position.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure as part of a team and maintain a professional approach.
  • Experience working with payments.
  • Experience of Micros would be an advantage.
  • Flexible to cover various shifts over the festive season including weekend party events.
