Chelsea Harbour Hotel and Spa is seeking a Chief Engineer who will be working and supporting the GM. No two days are the same as you will be supporting the Hotel on site and taking ownership of the hotel's Engineering department. You will also be involved in Projects where you can use your expertise and skills.

Our Chief Engineer will be responsible for managing all functions within the Engineering Department to ensure that the property is maintained and kept in a high state of repair at all times, whilst also ensuring that all Health & Safety measures are in place and adhered to within the job responsibility.

The Chief Engineer Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Participate in all engineering / maintenance activities such as installing, repairing, maintaining and operating machinery and plant equipment to the required company standard.
  • Participate in a Planned Maintenance regime to all areas of the hotel to include main plant, public areas and guest bedrooms on a daily basis.
  • Update record sheets and logs resulting from Planned Preventive Maintenance practices.
  • Well conversant with statutory requirements governing Asbestos, Health & Safety.
  • Fully conversant with ISO 14001 and 18001 policies and procedures.
  • Prepare energy management programme by establishing energy reduction objectives, maintenance records.
  • Correct application of planning and organising in order to provide a consistent high level of service.
  • Provide pro‑active and reactive maintenance cover and to assist other team members in emergency as and when required.

About the Hotel: The Chelsea Harbour Hotel is a luxury 5‑star all suite hotel set in the exclusive Chelsea Harbour Marina and within walking distance from the legendary King’s Road. All of the hotel’s luxury suites are spacious and elegantly furnished, with four spectacular penthouse suites which offer some of the best panoramic views across London from their spacious roof terraces. Leisure facilities at the hotel include the Blue Harbour Health Club and Spa, with a 17‑metre indoor swimming pool, state‑of‑the‑art fitness centre, sauna, steam room, six treatment rooms and a hair salon.
