Copthorne Tara Kensington Hotel are looking for a General Manager who will be working hand in hand with the Cluster General Manager and will oversee the day-to-day running of the hotel by maximising financial returns, driving the development of people, creating and maintaining a unique guest experience, executing brand standards, and building awareness of the hotel and brand in the local community. Responsibilities

  • Achieving budgeted targets and consistently delivering Brand and Company standards.
  • Ensuring all employees display a professional, positive attitude, increase customer satisfaction levels and surpass customer expectations.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Hotel ensuring strict compliance with agreed standards, policies and procedures.
  • Developing, implementing and evaluating the agreed department goals and KPIs to support the business meet its strategic targets.
  • Ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by creating and implementing agreed department standards to achieve increased customer loyalty and retention, external recognition and business growth.
  • Leading and creating a team environment which promotes good employee morale and ensures a high level of commitment and pride in the Hotel.
  • Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures by all members of staff.
  • Proactively managing resources to increase sales and profit levels and reduce operating costs, whilst adhering to agreed standards.

Qualifications

  • An already exceptional track record driving business in a similar role within a full-service hotel.
  • Experience working in a branded hotel.
  • A strong commercial acumen.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate across all levels.
