The purpose of this role is to assist in the daily running of the Food and Beverage department, ensuring that all M&C procedures and targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up marquees, arranging tables and assisting with the preparation of event spaces.
- Greeting guests with a smile as they arrive at the venue, directing guests to tables, providing menus and taking orders.
- Delivering food from the kitchen to guests at the table or to a self-service area.
- Topping up buffet selections with food.
- Keeping any bar and drink service areas fully stocked with beverages.
- Taking drinks orders and serving drinks to guests at their table or throughout the venue.
- Ensuring that all F&B areas are kept clean and that hygiene and food safety standards are respected.
- Maintaining accurate records and accounts as required and agreed.
- Addressing customer queries and resolving minor complaints effectively.
