Responsibilities of an Assistant Maintenance Manager:
- You must be positive, efficient and motivated with a friendly approach and a good eye for detail and accuracy.
- Develop good working relationships with other departments in the hotel.
- Communicate effectively and be customer focused.
- Work independently using your initiative with minimal direction from the Maintenance Manager.
- Assist in the planned reactive and preventative maintenance schedule when requested.
- Complete utility readings at required times daily.
- Work safely at all times, conforming to statutory and company health and safety regulations.
- Comply with other related regulations (e.g. COSHH).
- Assist in the upkeep of the hotel areas ensuring they are free from daily wear and tear as far as possible.
- General painting and decorating and refurbishment works as required.
- Be prepared to participate in out of hours ‘On Call’ rota.
- Being fully qualified as an electrician and/or plumber is preferable.
