We are looking for an energetic IT Manager for our Corporate office who will be assisting with Infrastructure, Network, Projects, etc. The role will support the day-to-day operations and maintenance of IT infrastructure across the Data Centre, corporate offices and hotel properties in UK & Europe, ensuring stable, secure and efficient IT systems while partnering with business stakeholders and IT teams to support operational needs, standardisation and ongoing improvements. Additionally, the IT Manager will work with wider IT Team, vendors, consultants, operations departments, and guests to ensure satisfaction of all users and an efficient and positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and performance of network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN) across multiple sites, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Manage and take accountability for server environments, virtualisation platforms, and cloud services (e.g., Active Directory, Azure, Office 365), driving performance, scalability, and continuous optimisation.
  • Proactively monitor infrastructure and network performance, identify risks and potential issues early, and lead timely resolution in coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Act as a key contributor in incident response planning and execution, taking ownership of infrastructure‑related actions during incidents to ensure effective response and minimal business disruption.
  • Ensure full compliance with IT security policies, regulatory and industry standards (e.g., PCI, GDPR), and lead disaster recovery planning, testing, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive infrastructure strategy, capacity planning, and lifecycle management, leading standardisation and optimisation initiatives across the region.
  • Own vendor relationships and lead the end‑to‑end delivery of infrastructure and networking projects, including new site deployments, upgrades, and technology implementations.
  • Partner closely with property‑based, regional, and global IT teams, as well as business stakeholders, to proactively align IT services with operational and strategic needs.
  • Provide on‑call support and take ownership during after‑hours (evening, night, weekend) activities when required for critical incidents and project delivery.

Experience & Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, and systems management, preferably in a multi‑site environment.
  • Proven experience delivering infrastructure and networking projects end‑to‑end.
  • Strong hands‑on knowledge of enterprise networks, servers, virtualisation, and cloud platforms.
  • Solid understanding of IT security, compliance, and disaster recovery practices.
  • Proactive, well‑organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Networking, Cloud, Security) are a plus.
  • Hospitality or similar industry experience is advantageous.
