Millennium Hotels and Resorts UK are looking for a Financial Analyst or FP&A who will work closely with our Central Finance service team, reporting to the Director of Operational Finance UK/EU. The primary responsibilities of this role include preparing accounting entries, reporting on revenue, producing monthly P&L packs, updating monthly forecasts, analysing actual results versus budget, building models to predict growth, and collaborating with operational finance leaders to understand commercial and operational issues. This role is ideal for someone with 2-4 years' experience in a commercially focused finance position who enjoys problem‑solving, taking ownership, and building insightful analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Developing annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long‑term financial plans.
- Financial Analysis: Analysing actual results vs. budget (variance analysis) and explaining performance drivers.
- Financial Modelling: Building models to predict growth, evaluate projects, and support strategic initiatives.
- Reporting: Preparing clear, concise reports and presentations for senior management.
- Business Partnering: Working with operational finance leaders to understand commercial/operational issues and improve reporting & profitability.
- Data Analysis: Gathering, consolidating, and validating data from various sources for accuracy.
- Creating and updating Regional Finance & Operational SOPs.
- Working on Internal Audit Issues.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.

- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is typically required.
