Are you an experienced Maintenance Assistant? Do you have electrical experience? Do you enjoy working as part of a team? If you’ve answered ‘yes’, we may have an ideal opportunity for you! The Copthorne Hotel Manchester is seeking a Casual Maintenance Assistant to join a busy team.
What do we expect from a Maintenance Assistant?
- Assist with the delivery, assembly, and installation of new bedroom furniture
- Support furniture replacement and refurbishment projects across the hotel
- Move, position, and install furniture safely and efficiently within guest bedrooms and other hotel areas
- Carry out minor repairs and adjustments to furniture as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Work closely with the Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to minimise disruption to hotel operations
- Report any issues, defects, or project delays to the Maintenance Manager
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Provide general maintenance support related to furniture installation projects as required
What we are looking for?
- Positive, ‘can do attitude’
- Experience of general property maintenance, including electrical
- Hotel maintenance experience is advantageous
- Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including weekends
- Knowledge of Health & Safety at Work regulations
- The ability to work as part of a team or independently, as required
- The ability to respond to queries quickly and problem solve effectively

The Clippers Bar serves hearty pub food throughout the day with pre-dinner and pre-match drinks available.
