Millennium Gloucester London Kensington hotel is looking for a Hotel Manager to lead our operational teams to success due to an internal promotion. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Hotel Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running and assisting with the strategic planning of the hotel operation. You will deputise in the absence of the General Manager and continually develop the product and the guest service proposition to ensure it is positioned as exceptional in the London market.
Hotel Manager's key responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the hotel ensuring that the team deliver great hospitality in a warm and friendly environment.
- Assisting with the development of any relevant short- & long-term strategic goals.
- Lead and develop an energetic workforce, having involvement in recruitment, learning and development, employee relations issues and team engagement initiatives.
- Planning and implementing the delivery of service for all operational departments to meet and exceed guest expectations.
- Assist with any duty or covering for team members in case of emergency.
The hotel highly values team spirit and operates on a rotating duties approach. Background in branded hotels or large hotels is preferred - so you will understand how we work.
