The Bugis Singapore Restaurant is looking for an experienced, passionate Head Chef with strong Chinese/Singaporean culinary expertise to lead our kitchen and create an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

This is an exciting time to join Bugis Singapore Restaurant. The Head Chef will have full autonomy of the kitchen and will play a key role in developing our culinary offering, creating new menus and building a passionate and talented team of chefs who share your vision for outstanding food experiences.

Given the nature of our Chinese/Singaporean cuisine and the restaurant’s culinary identity, we are particularly interested in candidates with strong professional experience in Chinese/Singaporean cuisine, including a deep understanding of authentic cooking techniques, flavours, ingredients and menu development.

You will have the opportunity to bring your own expertise and creativity to the role while working closely with the wider team to continually develop and elevate our food offering. We are looking for someone who:

  • Has proven experience as a Head Chef or senior kitchen leader within a high-quality restaurant environment.
  • Has strong expertise in Chinese/Singaporean cuisine and cooking techniques, ideally with experience across a broader Pan Asian offering.
  • Is confident in menu creation, recipe development and maintaining consistently high culinary standards.
  • Can lead, develop and inspire a talented kitchen team.
  • Has a strong understanding of food safety, cost control and kitchen operations.
  • Brings creativity, passion and a genuine desire to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
