If you want to be part of our 4-star property at the amazing location of Knightsbridge, don\’t miss the exciting opportunity we currently have at The Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge for an experiencedNight Manager. The purpose of this role is to assist in the daily running of the Front of the House department, ensuring that all M&C procedures and targets are met.
As aNight Manageryour key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the Front of House Operations during the Night shift, including, but not limited to ensuring staffing levels are adequate within all Departments to fulfil all departmental duties required such as Room Service, Concierge, Kitchen, Security, Shift Engineer and the Bar.
- To ensure that all control procedures pertaining to the processing of all financial matters are adhered to at all times including an accurate log of checks. Any discrepancies are reported in the correct manner.
- Directly communicates with the Assistant Front of House Manager regarding all points concerning the Front Desk and Guest Services department at night.
- Night Manager to conduct daily briefings with all Front Office staff to be sure that all are aware of hotel movement.
- Ensure guest communication is executed in a timely manner, either written or verbal.
- Ensure shift handovers are completed in a comprehensive manner.
As a Night Manager, the essential skills required:
- Opera Cloud/ Opera night audit experience.
- A leader who can drive the team in a positive direction.
- Ability to think on their feet, and not afraid to make decisions.
- Large scale hotel experience is an advantage.
- First Aid qualification is an advantage.
- Organised in managing logs, reports andhandovers
- Ability to multitask
