Overview

Millennium Hotels and Resorts UK are looking for a Regional SHE Manager who will drive the company's commitment to safety and compliance, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations from Corporate HSE and UK requirements and fostering a proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to Senior Management and support UK Hotels to implement, drive, and monitor all Corporate safety requirements while ensuring compliance with UK legislative requirements and accreditations.
  • Lead on SHE engagement with hotel management and supervisors, highlighting their relative roles and responsibilities and facilitating effective SHE through training, implementation, audit, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for a designated cluster of hotels regarding any interaction with enforcement or external SHE authorities, including RIDDOR reporting, EHO and fire visits.
  • Support the development of regional SHE training materials and undertake practical delivery of those materials.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of SHE management systems, ensuring hotel discipline in application of those systems to promote continuous improvement across the group and to gain or preserve any relevant certification.
  • Provide technical support through planned improvement activities and respond to ad‑hoc SHE support requests.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for your designated cluster of hotels regarding any relevant security event or issue, ensuring personal and property security measures are adequately maintained.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in HSE management within the industry.
  • NEBOSH diploma qualified – essential.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
  • Knowledgeable of required ISO accreditations audit processes and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve HSE goals.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing HSE programs and initiatives.
