We need someone to support our Head Housekeeper, on a fixed term to cover maternity leave, and their team to keep all aspects of the housekeeping department running smoothly, ensuring our high standards are exceeded to deliver remarkable guest experiences.

You’ll be capable of managing the day-to-day departmental operation including ensuring we are properly staffed and supervised as required, and that all rooms are cleaned according to the expected company standards, guaranteeing maximum comfort to our guests.

As the Housekeeping Supervisor, your main duties will be:

  • Making sure the quality of our housekeeping services are always superb: we have standards - but it’s down to you and the team to make the rooms and public areas look their best for our guests.
  • Managing day-to-day staffing needs, planning and assigning work to team members fairly.
  • Supporting with routine inspections of all guest rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, rooms, equipment, linens, public restrooms, lobby, etc. are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction.
  • Supporting the Head Housekeeper to develop the team and improve their performance through coaching and feedback, identifying good performance and recognising it as required.
  • Being ready to resolve any Housekeeping related issues, stock control, HR processes and training, payroll etc. in the absence of the senior Housekeeping team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory hotel housekeeping position.
  • Attentive, professional customer service skills & a team-working champion!
  • The ability to manage a team with a 'leading from the front' approach.

This is a fixed term position for up to 12 months with a salary of £27,060.80 pa.
