Copthorne Manchester Hotel is looking for a Food and Beverage Manager to lead the Front of House team brigade. With a passion for service and a real understanding of how to encourage a diverse team to deliver for our guests, you will have a solid background in hotel F&B operations and become an integral part of our senior management team.

The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to fulfil the objective of increased sales and is also responsible for the overall operation of food & beverage and its departments.

Food and Beverage Manager will have:

  • Experience in a 4-star Hotel in a similar position.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders and communicate thoughts, actions, and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef on menu development and to ensure food quality and consistency is always where it should be.
  • Evaluate changes in guest needs, the guest mix and competitive set, to recommend appropriate product/service and operational changes as necessary.
  • Being visible during F&B outlets operating hours and remain engaged towards guests.
  • The ability to lead by example and be hands on in your approach.
  • Multi departmental budgeting and forecasting experience; a clear understanding of the financial expectations of a successful restaurant and bar business.
