Millennium Hotel and Conference Centre Gloucester London is seeking a Luggage Porter to escort guests to rooms, assist with luggage, and provide information and services to guests and patrons in accordance with Millennium Gloucester’s standards, policies, and procedures. The role involves performing tasks as delegated by the Concierge on duty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Escort arriving guests, retrieve guest luggage from the luggage lift using the claim check provided by the receptionist, and proceed to the guest room to continue the check-in procedure.
- Ensure the guest room is in order, describe the location of TV control, air conditioning control, guest services directory, etc., to guests checking in; report any deficiencies or guest dissatisfaction at once to the Manager on duty.
- Describe all hotel services to guests; provide other information as may be required; follow up on information requested if not known.
- Page guests as required, deliver messages, packages, or other items to guestrooms or other areas of the hotel as needed.
- Assist departing guests with their luggage and transportation arrangements, including picking up luggage from guest rooms and checking it, or bringing it to the entrance and loading it in the taxi/car as required by the guest.
