Millennium Hotel and Conference Centre Gloucester London is seeking a Sales Executive who will be responsible for driving the sales effort for the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, in line with the overall financial business objectives. To manage existing accounts alongside the development of new accounts & projects to generate the best possible profile and revenue streams for the hotel and its outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of the hotel sales plan & conversion, to encompass direct sales calls, telesales, research, appointment making and taking part in promotional campaigns, client familiarisation visits and contract negotiation.
  • Drive and co-ordinate all sales activity to maximise revenue from existing accounts at hotel level, national and international level.
  • To ensure all sales activities undertaken are in line with agreed expense budget.
  • To regularly meet with the Assistant Director of Sales to communicate customer feedback, problems encountered, sales information, competitor knowledge, pricing strategies, product changes, distributions via GDS and environmental influences that may affect the business.
  • To meet with the Assistant Director of Sales and be fully up to date with actual/forecast/budgeted volumes, revenues and occupancies.
  • To attend and participate in hotel sales meetings, national and international Millennium and Copthorne sales meetings.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
  • Confident individual who is adept in prioritising and managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to take the initiative and deal with unexpected situations and last minute changes.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential data.

  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, resourceful with excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills with the customers and other hotel departments.

The Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is an impressive 4-star deluxe hotel in the heart of charming Kensington and a minutes' walk to Gloucester Road Underground station, allowing convenient access around London.
