Millennium Hotels and Resorts UK are looking for a Regional Security Manager who will be working alongside our Head of SSHE. You will collaborate closely with all Security managers within the Hotels. Your responsibilities will include driving improvements that benefit hotels across our region and providing responsive, specialist support when needed. Our Safety & Security team plays a vital role in safeguarding our guests, colleagues, and hotels, protecting both individuals and our reputation as a leading hospitality group.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the subject matter expert to design and enhance tools, resources, and learning materials for hotel teams.
- Deliver professional training and engagement activities for hotel leaders and corporate colleagues, including virtual sessions, bulletins, and alerts.
- Act as a key contact for corporate safety and security initiatives, supporting adoption and collaborating with facilities management colleagues.
- Support UK Region hotels in the development and periodic testing of emergency and crisis arrangements, including but not exhaustively epidemic/pandemic reactive and proactive activities.
- Undertake specific project work as may be required which supports strategic improvement for the delivery of SSHE management within UK.
- Implement, update and issue SOP’s related to Security.
- Promote the effective use of SSHE systems and arrangements at the UK Region hotels, in line with company requirements.
- Lead on Security engagement with hotel management and supervisors, highlighting their relative roles and responsibilities and facilitating effective SSHE through training, implementation, audit and feedback mechanisms.
