The purpose of this role is to assist in the daily running of the Front Office department, ensuring that all M&C procedures and targets are met.
Shift pattern:
- Act as the welcoming face of the hotel during night hours, delivering courteous, prompt, and personalised service.
- Maintain effective communication with all departments to support smooth overnight operations.
- Complete all scheduled night tasks and provide a clear handover at the end of the shift.
- Safely store and manage luggage in accordance with hotel guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the Night Security team to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of fire evacuation and emergency procedures.
As a Night Porter, the essential skills required:
- Previous experience as a night porter, concierge, or in a similar overnight role.
- Comfortable working independently overnight and making sound decisions.
- Flexible and able to support operational needs during busy periods or events.
