We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our central accounts department who is keen and eager to build a career within accounts. The Finance Assistant will manage the day-to-day processing of the account payable records whilst closely working with the management team. As Finance Assistant you will support the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable function.

Key responsibilities:- To be fully aware of the system of receiving and processing invoices and to operate within this system accurately and efficiently.
- Requesting supplier statements and performing creditors reconciliation, requesting missing invoices, and making adjustments where necessary.
- Post and allocate incoming payments into the sales ledger.
- Responsible for inputting and processing invoices into the accounting systems.
- Deal efficiently with all telephone queries to and from suppliers.
- Reconciliation of all Trade suppliers statements.
- Problem-solving, analytical, reasoning, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in interacting with both external suppliers, customers, and internal hotel associates.
- Ideally have prior experience as an account assistant in a hotel or similar customer service environment.
