We are looking for a competent Night Porter that can support with the running of the hotel when most people's days are coming to an end! As your title implies, you’ll be working through the night and into the morning, usually between the hours of 9:30pm and 8am. As the hotel is open 24 hours a day, the type of customer you’ll be dealing with may differ from those that you normally see at 3pm. They won’t all be sober, and many may well be in their pyjamas.
As Night Porter, you will support the Night Duty Managers to ensure the effective running of the hotel during the night operation and supporting the Night Audit processes. Responsible for ensuring our guests receive the highest levels of service, the nights team will provide a continual presence for guests, responding to requests and dealing with any enquiries on reception, switchboard or from the hotel. You will have strong communication skills, and your commitment to delivering the highest levels of customer service will be unrivalled. A night in the life of a Night Porter is never dull, and this is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic team on a part-time, permanent basis (30 hours per week over 3 shifts) in an excellent calibre of hotel!

About the Hotel: Housed in the magnificent Grade II listed Central Buildings, dating back to 1884, the beautifully restored boutique hotel is steeped in history. The Beatles-inspired hotel features elegantly furnished and individually decorated rooms with specially commissioned artwork. The hotel has one restaurant, a coffee shop and 2 bars, one of which hosts some of the city’s top acoustic musicians every Friday and Saturday night.
