Key responsibilities as a Food & Beverage Supervisor:

  • Supervise the daily operation of restaurant, bar, room service, and event service areas.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient service delivery across all F&B outlets such as bar, restaurant and shisha.
  • Lead, motivate, and support the Food & Beverage team to maintain exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Welcome and engage with guests in a warm, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with the coordination and execution of private events, banqueting, and special functions.
  • Monitor staffing levels and support rota planning to ensure operational coverage.
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene in line with HACCP regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health & safety procedures, and brand standards.
  • Assist with stock control, inventory management, and minimising wastage.
  • Support accurate billing, cash handling, and payment procedures, including use of MICROS systems.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless communication and service.
  • Respond calmly and effectively to operational challenges and emergency situations.

Essential skills required:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within Food & Beverage operations, preferably within hotels or luxury hospitality.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with POS systems, ideally MICROS.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Strong knowledge of food & beverage service standards and health & safety regulations.
  • A positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Physical demands such as being on the feet for long periods of time and manual handling.
