Here at Millennium Hotels UK, we value your skills, encourage growth by nurturing your personality, and reward your dedication. We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Assistant to join our Maintenance team. This is a crucial role when it comes to the upkeep of the hotel.
Our Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for:
- Responding to guest repair requests
- Performing maintenance activities on equipment around the hotel
Key Information:
- Hours of work: 40 hrs weekly
Shift Engineer's key responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance within the hotel rooms
- Respond promptly and efficiently to any maintenance calls that arise
- Assist in the implementation of the energy conservation program
- Execute the preventative maintenance schedule and ensure all equipment and designated areas are maintained to the required standard
- Keep your technical training knowledge and skills up to date
- Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in good condition

Shift Engineer will have:
- Good mechanical, electrical, plumbing and engineering knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic understanding of air-conditioning and ventilation / HVAC
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to communicate efficiently on any subject of department responsibilities
- Fluent English and excellent personal presentation standards
