Job Description:

The Part-Time Group Fitness Instructor will be responsible for leading fitness classes for Air Force employees and active-duty participants. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching various formats of fitness classes, including strength and conditioning and/or other specialty formats. The instructor will create and lead engaging and challenging classes that motivate and inspire members to achieve their wellness goals. The instructor must maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm to keep members engaged and motivated throughout the class. No relocation – this is for local hires only.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading Group Fitness classes for participants and active-duty members
  • Creating and leading engaging and challenging classes
  • Motivating and inspiring members to achieve their fitness goals
  • Ensuring the safety of all participants during the class
  • Providing modifications and adjustments to accommodate all fitness levels
  • Continuing education to stay up-to-date
  • American Red Cross or AHA CPR AED First Aid certified
