Millennium Hotel and Conference Centre Gloucester London is seeking a Purchasing Assistant who will be responsible for controlling and monitoring food and beverage stocks. Control the ordering, acceptance of all stock and distribution of all items. To deal with management within the F&B and non F&B teams of both properties. To ensure that all M&C procedures and targets are met.
The Purchasing Assistant Key Responsibilities will include:
- To supervise and control the day to day operation of the goods receiving area and team for the hotel.
- To manage the day to day operation of the Cellar and Dry Stores (raising orders, issuing stocks, receiving deliveries).
- To enter stock transfers in the system on a daily basis.
- To liaise with suppliers with respect to the incorrect or non-delivery of goods.
- To ensure all credits from suppliers are obtained and inputted on a timely basis.
The Experience & Qualifications for Purchasing Assistant:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.
- Confident individual who is adept in prioritising and managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to take the initiative and deal with unexpected situations and last minute changes.
