We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Reservations & Groups Manager to lead our Reservations and Groups function and drive revenue performance across individual and group business. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the hotel’s reservations strategy, maximising group conversion, and ensuring exceptional service standards across all reservations activity.

You will lead and develop the Reservations team, build strong client relationships, and work closely with Sales, Revenue and Operations teams to achieve commercial targets. You will play a vital role in delivering outstanding guest experiences while ensuring the department operates efficiently, accurately, and in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Reservations and Groups team to deliver exceptional service and commercial performance
  • Maximise revenue and conversion opportunities across individual and group reservations
  • Ensure all enquiries and quotations are responded to within agreed service standards
  • Work closely with Revenue, Sales and Operations teams to optimise occupancy and rates
  • Build strong relationships with key corporate accounts, agencies and group organisers
  • Analyse business trends, forecasts and conversion performance to support revenue growth
  • Manage group quotations, contracts and booking processes
  • Monitor departmental performance and implement continuous improvements
  • Maintain excellent communication across departments to ensure smooth operational delivery
  • Oversee departmental rotas, payroll costs and resource planning
  • Drive training, development and engagement within the team
  • Ensure full compliance with company procedures, health & safety requirements and financial controls
What We Are Looking For
  • Previous experience in Reservations, Groups or Revenue within a hotel environment
  • Experience managing a reservations or revenue team
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of hotel revenue management
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS and revenue management systems
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to prioritise multiple deadlines and manage competing demands
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for guest service and delivering outstanding experiences
  • Confident leader who can motivate, coach and develop a team
  • Flexible and proactive approach to problem solving

Experience within a large hotel operation and knowledge of group business would be highly advantageous.
