Overview

Millennium Hotels UK is looking for a Reservations Agent at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel.

The role involves being the first point of contact for guests and other stakeholders, entering accurate booking information into Opera, and maintaining a selling attitude to maximize room sales and hotel revenues.

Responsibilities

  • Use the Opera system to manage individual and group reservations accurately and promptly.
  • Follow all departmental standards of performance and procedures.
  • Gather all necessary information for reservations efficiently.
  • Maintain thorough product knowledge and apply it when interacting with clients.
  • Adopt a sales attitude and identify revenue‑maximizing opportunities within the hotel.
  • Adhere to telephone standards, answering and handling calls in a timely manner according to departmental guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Experience and knowledge of the Opera reservation system.
  • Ability to complete tasks within deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to multitask and work under pressure.
