The purpose of this role is to assist in the daily running of the Front Office department, ensuring that all M&C procedures and targets are met.
Key responsibilities as a Night Receptionist:- Manage night operations by checking arrivals and departures reservations, missing bookings, payments, and any rate discrepancies.
- Welcome guests warmly and provide a professional check-in and check-out experience.
- Take initiative in accommodating the customers’ needs in a resourceful manner.
- Be pro-active in the learning and development of administrative tasks, procedures, processes and standards and ensure correct practice.
- Be the first point of contact for all our guests.
- Deal with guest queries and complaints.
- Upsell hotel services.
- Answer the telephone and address any enquiries.
- Opera Cloud/ Opera experience
- Previous experience in a hotel reception or customer service role.
- Ability to multitask
- Well-presented, professional, and customer oriented
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
