The Chelsea Harbour Hotel is seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join our dedicated Kitchen Team. As a Pastry Chef de Partie, you will play an important role in the preparation and presentation of high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods across our food and beverage outlets and events operations. Working alongside the Head Pastry Chef and wider culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards, supporting junior team members, and ensuring consistency in every dish served.

This role is ideal for a skilled pastry professional who is creative, organised, and passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences through exceptional pastry creations. Key Information

  • Salary: £33,700 per annum + Service Charge
  • Location: Chelsea Harbour, SW10 0XE
  • Hours: 40 hours per week

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie within a hotel, restaurant, or high-volume catering environment.
  • A passion for pastry, baking, and dessert preparation.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and presentation standards.
  • A good understanding of food hygiene and food safety regulations.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present pastries, desserts, breads, cakes, and other baked goods to the highest standards.
  • Ensure all pastry items are produced consistently and in line with recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Assist with menu development and seasonal pastry offerings.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the pastry section.
  • Monitor stock levels and support ordering and inventory control processes.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and HACCP procedures.
  • Support and mentor Commis Chefs and other junior team members where required.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment across the kitchen brigade.
  • Assist during busy service periods and special events to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
