Chef Apprentice to join our talented Kitchen Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about food and hospitality who is eager to begin a professional culinary career.

As a Chef Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced chefs, gaining hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards while working towards your professional development goals.

You will receive practical training across different kitchen sections, develop essential culinary skills, and play an important role in helping deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

As a Chef Apprentice, you will

  • Learn and assist with the preparation and cooking of food to hotel standards.
  • Support the kitchen team with mise en place and daily food preparation tasks.
  • Develop an understanding of different cooking methods, ingredients, and presentation techniques.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas, equipment, and storage spaces.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
  • Assist with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries appropriately.
  • Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen colleagues to support smooth service operations.
  • Learn how to minimise food waste and contribute to sustainable kitchen practices.
  • Participate in training activities and continuously develop knowledge and practical skills.
