We’re looking for engaging people with good problem-solving skills that can deliver excellent service that our guests will love. Previous hotel reception experience is a must, and ideally you will be someone comfortable multi-tasking their way through a busy shift, dealing with an array of different guest needs and wants. Our guests stay 7 days a week so we need someone who is available to work a variety of shifts which may include the odd overnight shift (to cover holidays, sickness etc).
Your main role will be:
- Delivering excellent customer service to all guests staying in our unique Beatles-themed hotel.
- Manage all requests we get from guests in a helpful and professional manner.
- Contribute fairly to the team's workload on each shift to ensure seamless service for each guest.
The ideal candidate for this role would have:
- Previous hotel reception experience in a hotel environment using Opera CLOUD.
- Excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
- Confidence, professionalism and an engaging personality.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for the industry.
- Flexible attitude to shifts – you may need to work weekends and/or public holidays.
About the Hotel:
Housed in the magnificent Grade II listed Central Buildings, dating back to 1884, the beautifully restored boutique hotel is steeped in history. The Beatles-inspired hotel features elegantly furnished and individually decorated rooms with specially commissioned artwork. The hotel has one restaurant and two bars, one of which hosts some of the city’s top acoustic musicians every Friday and Saturday night.
