Graphic Designer

Millennium Hotels and Resorts UK is seeking a creative and dynamic Graphic Designer with a passion for social media to join our Corporate Marketing team. The successful candidate will support the marketing initiatives of all UK/EU hotels through engaging visual content, photography, and social media management.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design

  • Create visually compelling graphics, illustrations, and layouts for various marketing materials including brochures, flyers, digital ads, social media posts, and website content.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Marketing team to develop creative concepts that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Assist in the design and production of promotional materials for hotel events, promotions, and special offers.
  • Ensure all designs are consistent with the Millennium Hotels and Resorts brand identity.

Social Media Support

  • Capture high-quality photography and video content for social media channels, showcasing the unique offerings and experiences of our hotels.
  • Develop engaging social media content that drives brand awareness and audience engagement.
  • Coordinate with external agencies to ensure cohesive and timely content delivery.
  • Monitor social media trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for brand enhancement.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Corporate Marketing team to support overall marketing strategies and objectives.
  • Assist in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for campaigns and projects.
  • Liaise with hotel teams to gather content and ensure accurate representation of each property’s unique features.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain an organized library of digital assets including photos, videos, and design files.
  • Assist in tracking the performance of social media campaigns and reporting on key metrics.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Corporate Marketing team as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in graphic design, preferably within the hospitality or travel industry.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Basic photography and video editing skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools.
  • Familiarity with animation and motion graphics.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
