Full Time permanent 32 hours per week, 8am - 5pm four days per week. Part time available working two to three days per week.
We’re seeking people to join our team to provide dining room support at mealtimes and general laundry and cleaning duties as part of a fantastic team here at Langtree. This is a combined role which allows would be suited to someone who enjoys variety and a fast-paced environment.
Role Overview
The role involves supporting residents with daily meal times and maintaining a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment. You will help prepare light meals, snacks and drinks, assist residents during meal times, and contribute to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. This position plays an important role in building positive, long-standing relationships with residents while working collaboratively as part of a supportive and friendly team.
Key Responsibilities
- Care & Mealtime Support
- Prepare light meals, snacks and drinks in line with residents’ needs
- Assist residents during meal times, ensuring dignity and choice are respected
- Support individuals with specialist dietary needs (training provided)
- Promote a positive, engaging and fun-filled environment
- Ensure residents’ rights are protected at all times
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of individuals supported by the service
- Deliver loving, individual, person-centred care
- Develop effective working relationships with colleagues
- Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and staff
- Seek opportunities for personal and professional development
- Take responsibility for your own development through appraisals and training
- Maintain required standards of cleaning skills and undertake refresher training as needed
