This position combines data engineering, semantic modelling, and analytics delivery, and is responsible for creating reliable and high‑performing reports used throughout the business.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Technical proficiency in BI, analytics engineering, or data engineering roles.
  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience and certifications.
  • Experience delivering BI solutions in complex, legacy data landscapes is essential.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end‑to‑end Power BI solutions, including data ingestion, semantic models, dashboards, paginated reports, and apps.
  • Develop and maintain robust Power BI semantic models featuring clear logic, reusable measures, and strong performance.
  • Work effectively in legacy environments to enhance data quality, simplify models, and update reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver analytics that are trusted, high‑performing, and essential for decision‑making.

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
  • Power BI experience implementing and managing Row Level Security (RLS), Object Level Security (OLS), and role‑based access.
  • Expertise in DAX (performance‑optimized, reusable logic), Power Query, and transformations.
  • Experience with dashboards and interactive reports and creating paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder.
  • Power BI Embedded, Lakehouse and Warehouse, Azure Data Factory (or Fabric equivalents) and pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, Crystal Reports.

  • 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 08.30 -17.00
