Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end Power BI solutions, including data ingestion, semantic models, dashboards, paginated reports, and apps.
- Develop and maintain robust Power BI semantic models featuring clear logic, reusable measures, and strong performance.
- Work effectively in legacy environments to enhance data quality, simplify models, and update reporting processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver analytics that are trusted, high-performing, and essential for decision-making.
Technical Skills & Experience
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Power BI experience implementing and managing Row Level Security (RLS), Object Level Security (OLS), and role-based access.
- Expertise in DAX (performance-optimized, reusable logic), Power Query, and transformations.
- Experience with dashboards and interactive reports and creating paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder.
- Power BI Embedded, Lakehouse and Warehouse, Azure Data Factory (or Fabric equivalents) and pipelines, Dataflows Gen2.
